Here is the breakdown of the cider press design we came up with for my Apple Pressing build.
Several brick modified with stud are used to connect the various elements of the base.
Two stud wide tiles are connected around the outer edge to form a tray like container.
While a small wagon wheel fits in between the two arches.
This inkwell and technic wheel are used to attach a crank to the press.
Next comes the apple hopper. Inverted slopes are used on either end.
And then plate modified with handle and some clips are used to hold plates and tiles at a matching angle.
The two exposed studs allow the upper hopper to be connected.
Finishing the cider press!
We chose to raise ours a bit on some legs built of slopes, and then slide a big pot underneath the catch the fresh cider.
Enjoy using this technique yourself, and feel free to suggest new tutorial ideas!
