Just over a week left in the Summer Joust now, and Chris Huisjen was able to complete his first MOC as an entry in the 48×48 castle category.
Plenty of wooden additions add lots of visual interest to the stone walls – my favorite being the wood battlements on the excellent round tower. A dynamic layout also makes for a visually compelling fortress with the castle fitting nicely into the landscape and even having some angled portions.
