And of course, another CCC entry! This is number 16, for the Forest Lair category. Out of all the amazing categories Forest Lair is my favorite, so I wanted to do something extra special for it. And strangely enough I hadn’t done a snowy scene for the CCC this year, which made it easy to settle on this landscape idea. Many of the designs have already been explained in our tutorials: Chris Maddison’s Pine Trees, Snow, and Slanted Rockwork. And I’ll have a tutorial up on my palisade technique next year.
This group of Wolfpack bandits has built themselves a small hidden camp not too far from one of the main trade routes in Mitgardia. The cliff face gives shelter from the biting winter winds and with the added palisade protects against attacks.
