Our first furniture tutorial of the year covers four more designs: a bench, railing, table, and chair.
This small bench uses 1×1 tile with clips to hold the 1×4 tiles in place. We recommend using the new style of clips (shown here) if you try this design.
The clips are attached to the jumper plates to serve as the bench’s legs.
Next up is a neat railing design that Isaac used in Gardar’s Cloth Goods. Its core parts are 1×1 round plates and bricks, and 1×1 plate with clip.
This example is 7 studs long, but you could easily lengthen or shorten the design. Stack the elements from the previous picture in this pattern.
1×1 tile with clip then allow you to attach the railing to a standard studs up surface.
The sideways round bricks and plates give a unique railing style.
Our third design in this guide is a table using Ninja Horns for the legs. The horns are slid into the bottom of three 1×3 plates.
And some tiles and jumper plates finish the table top. If you don’t plan to have anything on top of the table, you could of course use just tiles.
Next is a small chair that utilizes a 1x2x2 bracket to connect the seat and back.
A 1×2 plate and 2×2 tile are added to finish the chair’s back.
Making a space efficient seat.
Feel free to let us know if you have questions about any of the designs, and stay tuned for plenty more tutorials in 2019!
