The hanging bundles and baskets in my Harburg Kitchen were an extremely popular detail. So this post explains how they are made.
Whips are the key component. They can easily be attached to various basket and container elements as shown here.
After filling the baskets with whatever you like, they can be built into simple studs up rafters. By placing one whip on each side of the empty stud they can’t slide around.
Cap off the rafter with more plates and tiles and the hanging details are locked in place.
