We have done tutorials on SNOT wall designs before, but this is a useful variation that allows for a SNOT tile surface within exactly a two stud thickness.
Since one stud equals two and a half plates, brackets are used instead of brick modified with stud.
It’s easy to continue this pattern for as large an area as you want, and you can reduce the number of brackets if using large plates underneath the tiles.
In this case I incorporated some brick with stud facing out on the end to attach a few two wide tiles as a cap.
This is exactly how I built the walls for my Modern Living Room, and it’s a very useful technique for a variety of circumstances!
