This furniture guide covers a small side table, stool, bench, and chair.
First up is the side table.
More 1×1 plates go on top of the 1×3 plate.
While the table top is made up of 2×2 tiles or jumper plates, depending on whether you want to attach anything.

Next a stool uses the same basic offset technique.
Third is a bench that makes good use of 1×2 brackets in combination with the inkwell element.
You don’t have to use the back rest elements, but they give a much more elegant look than standard bricks.
Last is one of my favorite chair designs. It’s 3×3 studs and uses 4 long bars and droid arms for the back.
Only downside being that it needs to be attached to the surface below to stay together, but usually that’s not hard to work around.
