Wolf Legend Beast Review

A review of the Chima, Wolf Legend Beast #70127.

This set retailed for $10 and provides an excellent source of white elements well suited to snow scaping. The box has some pretty snazzy artwork featuring all 4 Legend Beasts.

On opening the box, there are 2 bags of parts, a sticker sheet, and the instruction manual.

The set contains 111 parts, and once you organize them, a lot of neat parts in decent quantity are found. 8 sets of the new ball joints, a nice variety of different sized white curved slopes, some useful white plates, and the tan 1×2 plates with 3 teeth. Another special part, is the bley 1x2x2 bracket.

The minifigure, Worriz, features detailed printing on both sides of his torso, and on the legs:

Similar to the Lion, the build process starts with the torso of the beast:

The pearl dark grey teeth plates are used as tufts of fur, and each leg is connected to the body via  a ball joint.

The feet are also attached with the ball joints to allow for plenty of flexibility.

The completed wolf looks pretty impressive, and makes good use of a white grill brick for texture on the head.

Worriz seated on the wolf, and you can see the extra parts included:

I was quite pleased with the part selection of this set, and have found most of the parts to be very useful.
