Turntable Stained Glass Window Tutorial

Turn table bases make great stained glass window frames. And this tutorial shows how to make a simple stained glass window with them.

A 2×6 brick serves as the base for this example. Some plates and panels set up the area for the window to sit into.

Then some cheese slopes give a nice bevel to the outside wall and some bricks build up the sides of the window.

Now the window itself can be added: I used 6 turntable bases connected by trans clear 1×2 plates and trans blue plates to give some color.

You’ll notice that the top two trans plates are round, this allows an arch to fit over the top snugly.

The arch on top, and panels on the bottom, lock the window in securely.

A very basic design, but it makes for an effective stained glass window.
