John and I got a very unique opportunity through InnovaLUG, to build a series of Nutcrackers based off of the promotional Nutcracker set to aid in The LEGO Group’s advertising of the promotion. You can see that video on their Facebook page here. They needed 18 unique outfits for Nutcrackers built within a few weeks, and we jumped at the chance to do some building for the LEGO group.
The hat for this train conductor took quite a bit of fiddling, to get something that worked. Primary inspiration for the outfit came from the Conductor minifigure used in the Winter Holiday Train set.
