Here is a pretty simple and parts effective design that allows you to make a small dome in some interesting colors.
The primary elements are the 4×4 dishes themselves, as well as the octagonal plate with handles element.
Each dish is attached to a 1×1 round plate which goes on the end of a 1×2 plate with clip.
Then you just alternate up/down for each of the dishes to get a nicely shaped dome.
We have yet to use this design in a build, but the color variety of 4×4 dishes could make this very useful for achieving domes in some less common colors with limited part variety.
We’re still getting caught up with things after Brickworld Chicago, so stay tuned for a wrap up of that event and lots of other new content!
