My first entry to the 15th annual Colossal Castle Contest, for the large miscellaneous category. We recently got a large supply of dark red and dark orange leaves from LUGbulk that I wanted to put to good use, so I built a forest. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out, and I got to try LL’s water technique, which has been on my list of to do’s for a while now.
Allanar Forest is home to a peculiar race of people who are generally known as ‘Dwelfs’. They love nature, and spend much of their time caring for animals, or training them; even such creatures as dragons are welcomed in their community. They live in unpretentious cottages, but don’t be mistaken – they are excellent craftsmen, and their homes are held in high regard by even the most skilled architects.
